We build the numbers side of a raise, so founders can focus on the company
Most founders lose weeks building a financial model from a blank spreadsheet, then lose an investor's trust in the first meeting because the numbers don't hold together. Financial Mastery exists to stop that happening.
Who we are
Financial Mastery started in January 2026 as a single SaaS financial model with a cap table and a few calculators. Founders asked for more: their business wasn't SaaS, they wanted to know what to say when an investor asked about churn, and after the raise their board wanted numbers every month.
Today there are four kits, from a first model to the tools that run a company after the raise, and a free library built from the same material: 11 calculators, 50 investor questions, 25 term-sheet clauses and 149 glossary terms.
We write as “we”. Our job is to make the numbers clear, honest and defensible, not to tell you what to do with your company.
Models that check themselves
Every workbook has integrity checks. The financial model must say MODEL OK before you share it.
Worked numbers, not opinions
Every free page uses numbers from a working sample model, so you see the mechanics, not just the theory.
Honest about limits
Rules of thumb are labelled as rules of thumb. Legal points always end with: ask your lawyer.
What we believe
Defensible beats impressive.
A modest forecast you can explain wins more meetings than a hockey stick you can't.
Show the downside.
A Worst case with a plan builds more trust than a perfect forecast.
Education, not advice.
We can't know your whole situation. We help you understand and plan, and point you to accountants and lawyers when it matters.
Your numbers are yours.
Our calculators run in your browser. We don't collect what you type.
What we make
Four kits of Excel workbooks and PDF playbooks. Each tier includes everything in the one before, and you can look inside every one before you decide.
